Philip joined Grant & Associates in 2024, quickly gaining an appreciation for the legal
challenges facing those that live in Weld County and Northern Colorado. Philip has a
passion for assisting people, and seeks to provide sound legal counsel, no matter what his
clients are facing.
Throughout law school, Philip gained experience in transactional law, including contract
law, regulatory law, and compliance through externships with the Memphis International
Airport and FedEx Logistics. Additionally, Philip gained valuable experience in family law
and estate planning through clerkships with Memphis-based law firms.
Prior to attending law school, Philip earned his degree in Social Studies Education and
taught high school history in Memphis, Tennessee. Philip then went on to earn his law
degree from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis, where he
developed a strong foundation in legal analysis, client advocacy, and long-term planning
strategies.
After completing his legal education, Philip relocated to Colorado with his wife, Alexis, to
be closer to family. During his free time, Philip enjoys spending time with Alexis and their
dog, Beau, cheering on the Broncos, and spending time in the mountains.
